This plugin was designed for Netscape 2.0. It will also work
with Netscape 3.0 - see our technical
support pages for more information.
Note: Make sure you have the 32-bit version of Netscape before
downloading this plugin. If you have the 16-bit version of Netscape (the
version without Java) go here

What about Microsoft's Internet Explorer?
Crescendo does work with Internet Explorer. You can either use the ActiveX version, or the plugin version. See Microsoft's plugin support page for details on using the plugin.
Here are several different sites where you can download Crescendo (c231n95.exe). If you experience difficulty with one, please try another.
Place the downloaded file into a new directory (for example: "Crescendo Install Files"). Double click on the file to expand it. You will see a WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box. Keep the default "Unzip to Directory" setting (.\) which will unzip to the current directory. A readme file with additional installation instructions will appear.
Note: You may not see all of the files after you unzip the distribution file. If you do not see Npmidi32.dll, go to View/Options, select the "View" tab, and select "Show all files". You should then see Npmidi32.dll.
