Information for Web Page Authors
Universal Crescendo and Crescendo PLUS (MidiJS) can be added to your web page at no cost! Here's the simplest way using the plug-in:
<script type='text/javascript' src='//www.midijs.net/lib/midi.js'> </script>
<table> <tr> <td><a href="http://liveupdate.neocities.org"><img src="http://web.archive.org/web/19961109115345id_/http://www.liveupdate.com/button1.gif"></a></td> <td style="width: 23px; text-align: center;"> <a href="#" onClick="MIDIjs.play('yourmidifile.mid');"><img src="http://kwan-nick.neocities.org/play.gif" width = 23 height = 23></a> </td> <a href="#" onClick="MIDIjs.pause('yourmidifile.mid');"><img src="http://kwan-nick.neocities.org/pause.gif" width = 23 height = 23></a> </td> <td style="width: 23px; text-align: center;"> <a href="http://liveupdate.neocities.org/tschootr.html"> <img src="http://liveupdate.neocities.org/graphics/question.GIF" height="21" width="21" alt="Help"> </a> </td> </tr> </table>
If you want your MIDI file to loop, add <loop="true"> above the first line in the <HEAD> of your HTML.
If your site is viewed with mobile browsers or non-Chromium based browsers, use our Universal Version here.
If your MIDI file doesn't sound quite right (no/little bass, random notes, etc.), use our Universal Version here.
